HID lights have its original name from the intense white light produced by the electrical discharge. HID stands for High Intensity Discharge. It is a lighting technology based on an electrical charge to ignite xenon gas contained in a sealed bulb. HID kit technology is similar to that of common vapor-filled street lamps. HID lightning creates light by igniting an arc between two electrodes. These lamps also called xenon lamps, because they are fulfilled with the xenon gas. HID lights are rapidly becoming the norm among car drivers because they produce more light than conventional halogen lighting systems (from 200% to 300% more light depending on the type of the bulb), allowing the driver to see more clearly, while at the same time consuming almost half the power.
